At the WICSD Board meeting on Oct. 2, 2025, West Irondequoit Foundation members Matt Fink and Ryan Trevas presented the annual grant check to Superintendent Dr. Aaron Johnson and the Board of Education.
SCIENCE OF READING INSTRUCTIONAL PRACTICES
Funds will be used to purchase Volume 1 and 2 LETRS manuals and access to online learning platform for teachers enrolled in the course. This was an initiative started when there was access to Stimulus Funds and by purchasing these materials, important training for teachers would be completed.
