WIF Presents Grant Check for 2026-27
Sept. 17, 2026 - The West Irondequoit Foundation announced four grants it will fund for the 2026-27 school year. Its President, Mr. John Loury, presented a ceremonial check donation of $45,050 at Thursday’s Board of the Education meeting. That brings the grant total since 1990 to 1,195,788.16. WIF Presents Grant Check for 2025-26
Oct. 15, 2025 - The West Irondequoit CSD accepted our donation of $50,094 at Thursday night's Board of Education to pay for six grants for the 2025-26 school year. The teacher/staff-initiated grants increase the amount awarded to the WICSD since 1990 to $1,150,738.16. Read more at this link.

Sept. 25, 2024 - The West Irondequoit CSD accepted our donation of $32,518.72 at Thursday night's Board of Education to pay for five grants for the 2024-25 school year. The teacher/staff-initiated grants increase the amount awarded to the WICSD since 1990 to $1,100,644.16. Read more via this link.

Sept. 22, 2023 - The West Irondequoit CSD accepted our donation of $30,152.44 at Thursday night's Board of Education to pay for three grants for the 2023-24 school year. Dec. 15, 2022 - The West Irondequoit Foundation check presentation for its 2022-23 grant donation of $13,206 was at Thursday's Board of Education meeting with WIF President Mrs. Donna DePeters. She is pictured with Board of Education President Mr. Matthew Metras, Board of Education Vice President Mr. Matthew Sullivan, and Superintendent Dr. Aaron Johnson.
WIF Presents Grant Check for 2021-22
Sep. 16, 2021 - The West Irondequoit Foundation check presentation for its 2021-22 grant donation of $58,225 was at Thursday's Board of Education meeting with WIF Vice President and IHS graduate, Mr. John Loury. He is pictured with Board of Education President, Mrs. Ann Cunningham, and Superintendent, Dr. Aaron Johnson. This year's donation's pushed the 32-year total to $1,024,767.
